The Coastline Dream center is focused on supporting individuals when they are at their most vulnerable and has a calling to help in the fight against human trafficking.
Who we serve
The size of the human trafficking industry in our region is estimated at $810 million and FBI data lists San Diego as one of the 13 worst regions in the world for human trafficking, impacting as many as 8,000 victims each year. The average age of victims entering trafficking is 15, and victims come from all communities across our county.
How we serve
We know there is much that can be done in North County to increase awareness, take action, and make a difference in the lives of victims and survivors. The Coastline Dream Center is proud to be a sponsor of the Stop Traffic Walk event and as part of our church family we would love for you to come alongside us to participate, volunteer, raise funds, and spread the word.
The Stop Traffic North County Walk event will raise funds for the nation’s largest human trafficking rescue and rehabilitation program at the Phoenix Dream Center, StreetLightUSA, and select San Diego human trafficking efforts. The funds raised through this event will help these organizations educate the public on how to identify those at-risk, work in collaboration with law enforcement to rescue trafficked individuals, and give rescued individuals the resources, support and skills necessary to build a strong and vibrant life. In addition, a portion of the funds will be given to the Coastline Dream Center to further our outreach to support and rehabilitate victims of human trafficking.
